One Lincoln Ave is a boutique hotel at 1 Lincoln Ave, Gardiner, Maine 04345, operated by One Lincoln ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit onelincolnave.com, contact us, or stay with us, and how we use it.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, mobile phone number and mailing address.
- Booking details, such as your dates, suite, number of guests and any requests or messages you send us.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe through our booking system, OwnerRez. We do not store full card numbers.
- Messages you send us by email, phone, text or website chat, and voicemails if you leave one.
- Website data, such as pages visited, device and browser type, and general location, collected through cookies and similar tools used by our website platform.
2. How we use it
- To answer your questions and handle your reservation.
- To send booking confirmations, check-in instructions, door codes, check-out reminders and other messages about your stay.
- To take payment, prevent fraud and keep the property safe.
- To meet legal requirements, such as tax and local short-term rental record keeping.
- To improve our website and service.
3. Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we use it to send messages about your inquiry and your stay. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of booking. See our SMS Terms for details.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This excludes only the service providers that deliver our messages for us, who may not use your information for any other purpose.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the hotel, and only as needed:
- Our booking and payment providers (OwnerRez and Stripe).
- Our website, phone and messaging provider.
- Our door-lock system, which issues your entry code.
- Booking sites such as Airbnb, if you booked through them, under their own privacy policies.
- Government authorities when the law requires it.
5. Cookies
Our website and booking tools use cookies to keep the site working, remember your choices and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features, like booking, may not work without them.
6. How long we keep it
We keep reservation records for as long as needed to provide your stay and to meet tax, accounting and local licensing requirements, and then delete or anonymize them.
7. Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or stop receiving messages from us, by contacting us below. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
8. Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
